It’s the same story with any car with a curved trunk. Back when we had the pt cruiser operational, I took the whole family to Lowes to choose a new toilet. Unfortunately foresight is not my strong suit, as I had to McGuyver a toilet into the back of it, with everything else back there (bags, umbrellas, etc), and a daughter sitting in a car seat. Took me a couple of minutes to get everything worked out.

Depends on the liftback.
RWD ones tend to be bad in that way though...
